GSWP-2 MMA Daily Fields

Note that to delineate the daily multi-model mean data (based on 10-years data 1986-1995) in the NetCDF data files, each variable name is preceeded by M_.

The ALMA standard daily fields for the GSWP-2 baseline simulation are listed in the table below.   The daily data set spans 10 years (1986-1995) so 3652 time steps are represented.  A text dump of the header information from one of the NetCDF flies is provided as well.

GrADS-Data Server (GDS; DODS/OPeNDAP compliant) access to the monthly data.

The sign convention shown is traditional meteorological convention. See

Because different LSSs have different vertical discretizations of soil layers, soil moisture and temperature have been interpolated to a common profile of six layers with thicknesses of 0.1, 0.2, 0.2, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5m, for a total depth of 1.5m.
